Hey everyone!
This campaign has been phenomenal until now. We launched about a week ago and not only we funded on Day 1 but we've now unlocked a total of FIVE Stretch Goals so far!
Thank you all so much for pledging and supporting ADAGIO!
Check out below everything unlocked so far and what's next, there's plenty of upgrades, extras to be added to every package and some truly amazing new art & content planned, I cannot wait to see how far we can get \o/
ADAGIO will now be a 112-page graphic novel with a whopping 16 pages added to the book which will include original concepts, Making Of texts and info, texts and commentaries by myself and the creative team.
Both hardcover editions will get a nice quality boost with an UV Spot treatment over matte cover, the die-cut especially should benefit from this effect as the holographic screens will have a nice shiny effect!
I'm excited to get to $23K because I get to publish the four-page short story that was awarded the grant that paid for the original Brazilian graphic novel. This was the first time we all got to work together: Sara, Natalia, Bräo, Deyvison and myself.
We were just testing out concepts and ideas and it was awesome seeing it resonate with a panel of judges that were all comic book experts \o/

Past backers know I love a good cross-promotion between great-looking projects and exciting creators. I think it's the perfect way for the community spirit around Kickstarter to really shine not just between creators and backers but also among creators as well.
As my first Spotlight I can't think of a better project. Witches of Oz is ending in less than 30+ hours and it's been a tremendous success with over 1600 backers and a few Stretch Goals unlocked plus Kat Calamia is a terrific creator and just an overall amazing human being, we met a while back and it's been exciting to see all the fantastic books she's been publishing.
From her own page: "Glinda the Good Witch was once loved by all. But since The Wizard left the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Lion in charge...Oz is not what it once was. Looking for a scapegoat for their problems, the Emerald City turns on Glinda...literally burning her at the stake in her own Witch Trial.
In her final hours, the only person Glinda has left to turn to is...the Wicked Witch of the West. A misunderstood outcast who wants to mourn her sister in peace. She wants nothing to do with the city that turned their back on her. Now the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch must team up to find the one person who can save Oz: Dorothy..."
Outbreak Park

This project first caught my eye in a newsletter sent by the Kickstarter curators and I was immediately drawn. I really wanted to get in touch with both Allan Amato and Andy Belanger to see if they would be willing to meet and check out Adagio.
Another fully funded project unlocking Stretch Goals, Outbreak Park has about 8 days to go and I'm sure they will go much further than their 590 backers so far.
