Hello everyone!

Before I get into the news about production of ADAGIO and all related goods I need to remind you all to fill out your BackerKit Surveys! I still have more than 80+ backers that have yet to complete their surveys.

If you don't fill them out, you'll miss out on your rewards and your pledge will be considered a donation - especially because we're collecting the shipping fees through BackerKit. Please check your emails for any messages coming from either BackerKit directly or myself.

PRODUCTION CALENDAR

We're running a bit behind than I had anticipated last month but production has been progressing and the book is turning a lot better than expected. And the reason is I thought we would be able to use the lettering in Portuguese to save us some time but in the end Deyvison and I decided to re-do it from scratch as well.

We first published ADAGIO back in 2018 and upon reviewing our own work we decided we could do better, we improved a lot over the years and we wanted this new edition to reflect where we're professionally at today.

I sincerely apologize for the delay but it will be worth it and it won't be too long of a delay. Right now we're about 60-70% done with Lettering and have pretty much completed the new design for the book.

As soon as we're done with Lettering, I will do final tweaks on the book design, prep print files and off we go to print. I'd like to remind all backers that every piece of artwork is completed so it truly is a matter of locking down the lettering and design.

When we go to print, I will also immediately work on the digital part of fulfillment. Please find below the most up to date production and fulfillment calendar which as we get closer to going to print the less it is likely to change again.

Here we go:

• End of November / Early December: Lettering & Design completed!
• December 9th: Shipping & Add-Ons payments collected through BackerKit
• December 15th: We go to print!
• December 16 - 22nd: Digital Fulfillment happens in time for the holidays!
• January: Books in transit from China, should take about four to six weeks
• February: Fulfillment starts! This should take about two weeks so we're aiming for mid-February to be completely done, no later than early March.

Once again I want to apologize for the delay and thank you all for your patience and support. 

I am thrilled and proud to offer to you the best version of ADAGIO possible. It's actually pretty awesome to have the opportunity to revisit a past project with new eyes, a lot more experience, and work on it to get it to another level.

I cannot wait for you all to experience ADAGIO!

REMINDER: BackerKit Surveys locking TOMORROW - Mandatory to fill them out!

Hey everyone,

I will keep this short, sweet and aimed towards the 109 backers that have yet to fulfill their Adagio BackerKit Surveys. You need to fulfill them by tomorrow, October 29th, 11:59pm est!

We're in the final stages of production of the book and we will be going to print in the next two to four weeks - that means if you want your name in the Thank You section, this is your last chance!

If backers fail to fill out their Surveys I won't be able to have a final tally and there is the risk the more limited items will be sold out before we complete fulfillment.

If you haven't found the BackerKit Survey email in your accounts (don't forget to check the Spam folder!), use the link below to retrieve them again and hit "Lost your Survey?":

If you signed up to Kickstarter through your iPhone and the account was made under a "privaterelay.apple.id" email address you will need to contact me so we can use an alternate one.

Hello backers,

As outlined in my previous Update I am sending out all the BackerKit Surveys! We had a pretty successful Smoke Test over the past few days with only one issue reported and we are good to go.

*ATTENTION: If you added anything on to your original pledge on Kickstarter at the time the campaign was live and if you feel there's something wrong with your Shipping Fee please send an email to [email protected] or DM me right here on Kickstarter.

That was the only issue reported and the good folks at BackerKit fixed it but just in case something feels off, reach out and I will look into it.

You can consider this the official start of the fulfillment of the ADAGIO Kickstarter and what's probably the most important step since I need you all to do your part too.

All BACKERKIT SURVEYS HAVE BEEN SENT AND WILL BE LOCKED DOWN ON OCTOBER 29TH!!

And if you don't fill them out you won't receive any rewards included in your pledge tier - digital files too! Yep, it's that important.

I use BackerKit to tally up every single item we're sending to production and I also use BackerKit to distribute digital rewards, organize all the different shipments, print shipping reports to fulfillment partners so they can organize shipments and much more so if you don't provide your information on BackerKit you will NOT receive your rewards.

Backers that fail to fulfill their Surveys and pay for shipping will have their original pledges considered donations to the project without any obligation of fulfillment.

All of you, every single backer, should have received by now e-mails directly from BackerKit asking you to fill out the Surveys. They are easily accessible from the e-mails sent and pretty straightforward, all you gotta do is follow the steps and instructions. No sign in required.

I will lock down the surveys on October 29th in time to go to print and if you don't get them filled by then you do risk missing out on some of the most limited items. Please fill those sooner than later so I can put in the printing order as accurately as possible.

Also, if you miss the deadline above YOUR NAME WILL NOT BE IN THE THANK YOU PAGE. Last Kickstarter campaigns I had a number of backers ask me why their names weren't in there, well, that's why. 

If you haven't received your BackerKit Survey invite please follow these steps:

Keep an eye out on your Spam Folder and/or Junk Mail. E-mails will come either directly from BackerKit or myself (Felipe Cagno) and will say on the subject line Response Needed -- Get your rewards for ADAGIO: All you need to do is dream.

If you don't spot them manually then try using the "Search" feature on your e-mail account page and look for either my name or BackerKit.

*IMPORTANT: Make sure you are checking the right e-mail account. It is the same e-mail you used to register an account on Kickstarter. 

Also, if your Kickstarter pledge was made under a "privaterelay.apple.id" email address, you will need to contact us with an alternate email address. This would be the case if you registered to Kickstarter on your iPhone letting the phone set up the account for you. 

Backerkit cannot send email or survey links to those addresses, so we will need an alternate to complete your pledge.

If none of the above works then click the link below, hit the "Lost your Survey?" and input your Kickstarter registered e-mail when prompted.

How to Upgrade or Switch your Pledge Level

On the very first screen backers will have the chance to upgrade or switch pledge levels. There is a little clickable "or switch your pledge level" just underneath the big green Get Started! button as pictured above.

If you would like to go for a higher tier the system will charge you the difference at the end of the process and if you pledged for one of the top tiers already but would like to spend the cash in a different way then the system will use the overpaid difference as extra credit to be used towards Add-ons.

THE ADD-ONS SHOPPING WINDOW

You will also be able to add a number of other graphic novels, cards, collectibles and more to your pledges.

That includes the original The Few and Cursed series in both full color and Black & White issues or trade paperback format, the spin-off anthology Chronicles of The Few and Cursed, TFAC: Shadow Nation. TFAC: Heart-Shaped Ambition, all our collectible cards and more.

Also available are all my other original comic books and graphic novels.

PLEASE NOTE: Credit cards are not charged immediately. They are only charged after the surveys lock on October 29th.

Shipping Issues, Missing Rewards or any other problems

Glitches might happen. I'm prone to mistakes so if you notice anything out of place do not hesitate to either leave a comment on this update, shoot me a message or e-mail me at [email protected]

As mentioned before we did a smoke test with a few of you and it seemingly went alright with one single issue reported and fixed. If you have any problems filling out the surveys or adding items to your pledge I'm always here to help make this experience as smooth as possible.

And because credit cards aren't charged immediately you can just add items at your convenience, finalize the order and if there's anything wrong with pricing or shipping, anything out of place really, we can correct it before any charges go through.

I'm trying to cover any and all big questions in this one long update but obviously if there is still anything confusing do not hesitate to contact me. I might not answer right away but I usually get back to  everyone within 24 hours.

BackerKit Surveys SMOKE TEST sent to 5% of backers! All surveys coming up next week!

Hey everyone!

As outlined in the last Update we've got the Pledge Manager Surveys coming up on October 1st, that's next Tuesday, and they are mandatory to fill out.

As soon as BackerKit sends all Surveys I will reach out again with specific and detailed instructions although they are pretty much intuitive and easy to fill out - no sign in is necessary!

A few of you will get your Surveys in a couple of minutes as part of our Smoke Test.

The smoke test is a period where ~5% of the backers are randomly chosen to receive the surveys first in order to make sure everything is running smoothly or address any questions if needed.

Backerkit usually suggests waiting until 75% of those are complete, roughly 48 to 72hours, before sending the rest, so we are right on time to send all surveys to everyone on Tuesday (October 1st) at the latest.

If you are one of those 5%, please fill out your survey so that the smoke test isn't held up!

Quick update on my current Kickstarter campaign as we go into our final hours! We're clocking in at nearly 1400 backers and unlocked 14 Stretch Goals so far!

I haven't completed the translation yet but we have started working on the new design of the book and we're currently on track to fulfill this campaign as per dates outlined in my previous Update and below with one change only:

• UPDATED - September 30th: Rewrite/Translation completed!
• Mid-September to Early October: Lettering, Design and new Artworks completed.
• October 1st: BackerKit Surveys sent out
• October 15th: We go to print! Digital fulfillment happens \o/
• November: Books in transit from China, should take about four to six weeks
• December: Fulfillment starts! This should take about two weeks so we're aiming for mid-September to be completely done

I'm excited to get this one to print, it's been a massive hit in Brazil and I'm sure it will win audiences over the world as well, starting with you, my dear backers.
